It is truly a pleasure to see a knitting pattern book with style and grace. The author is such a versatile designer with a legacy of multifaceted patterns that we shouldn't be surprised by this book inspired by the art of the 20th century. The concentration is on patterning and shape and the results are refreshing and elegant without being difficult to execute. I love the connection and explanation given with each pattern. Detail photos and directions in words and graphs complete the picture of a book well worth owning. The bottom line? Well, the bottom of course, I do love those ruffles!
