As you can probably tell already from the cover photo, Lazy Days has to do with the mood of the collection rather than the effort of the designer. Many of the designs are laid-back, and quite a few are easy to knit, but they’re all characterized by the imaginative mind and technical excellence of Elsebeth Lavold.
Add a lovely new yarn, ViSilk, and you have all the ingredients for yet another inspired, and inspiring, knitwear collection. Additional desings are made in Bambool, Cool Wool, Hempathy and Silky Wool.
Flattering garment shapes, pretty and unusual edgings and a lot of lace patterns are other highlights in this collection from a designer otherwise celebrated for her cable designs. But in-between the projects for the lazy knitter, there are some typical Lavold challenges, like a combination of a short cable and a lace pattern, and a unique spiral shell motif.
